Swanson Russell Promotes Henderson, Hires Kollars, Mohs, Hassler and Jones in Interactive Department

LINCOLN, Neb., (Aug. 4, 2008) - Swanson Russell has promoted Mike Henderson and hired Christopher Kollars, Jeff Mohs, Zeljka Hassler and Valerie Jones in the Interactive Department.

Henderson now serves as interactive design lead. He came to Swanson Russell as a production artist in 2003 and has also worked as a graphic designer and interactive designer. A native of Zearing, Iowa, he received his education in graphic design at The Creative Center in Omaha.

Kollars is a Web quality assurance/developer. He was previously a Web designer at Greek Creations and Intellitek. Kollars hails from Hadar, Neb., and has an associate degree in occupational studies from The Creative Center in Omaha.

Mohs, an interactive project manager, works with clients including Minn Kota, Humminbird, Cannon, Leupold, AcuSport, Ariens/Gravely, Briggs & Stratton, Corona Clipper, Shindaiwa and Woolrich. He previously served as project manager and business manager at a Web communications design company in Olympia, Wash., and as a Web site manager and brand manager at an entertainment complex in Grand Forks, N.D. A native of Cando, N.D., Mohs is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with majors in marketing and French.

Hassler joins Swanson Russell as an interactive designer. She previously worked as a multimedia designer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and an interactive designer at Bailey Lauerman in Lincoln, Neb. Hassler is from Banja Luka, Bosnia, and holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and design and a master’s degree in advertising, both from UNL.

Jones serves in the newly-created position of manager of insights and analytics. She was previously employed at Bailey Lauerman where she was associate director of contact strategy, and has worked at agencies in San Francisco and Chicago. A native of Lexington, Neb., Jones has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and sociology and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications, both from Northwestern University. She served as public service chair on the executive board of the Advertising Federation of Lincoln from 2007-08.
