Swanson Russell Wins Multiple ADDYs, Tellys for Ad Work

Lincoln, Neb. (March 10, 2009) - Swanson Russell's creative work in advertising was recently recognized with local ADDY and international Telly awards.

The best work in advertising produced by state agencies was honored Feb. 7 in Lincoln at the annual Nebraska ADDY Awards. Swanson Russell took home four Gold ADDYs and a number of Silver ADDYs. The competition was a joint effort of the Advertising Federation of Lincoln and the Omaha Federation of Advertising.

Swanson Russell won Gold ADDYs for its work on two Union Bank television commercials, a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska television commercial and its own promotional T-shirt for the Omaha office. Silver ADDYs were received for work on behalf of the following clients: Humminbird, Minn Kota, Leupold, Weatherby, Nebraska State Road Race Championship, Hines Horticulture, Project Evergreen, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Green Team, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health, Reinke, Standard Golf, Union Bank and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska.

In a separate competition, Swanson Russell received two Bronze Telly Awards for Union Bank's “Bank of Timmy” and Hodgdon's “Super Buck” television spots.

Tellys are international awards for television advertising in which each entry is judged on its own merit and given a score by a select judging committee. More than 13,000 spots from around the world were entered in the most recent competition.
