Swanson Russell Spreads Holiday Cheer with “Pawsome” Giving Tree Event

The holiday spirit was in full swing at Swanson Russell’s Omaha office during the sixth annual Giving Tree event on December 4. This year, Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue was selected as the beneficiary — a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing animals and supporting pet owners.  

Armed with donated fabric and foam, employees made 14 cozy blankets and 16 braided toys to help bring comfort to cats and dogs waiting for their forever homes.  

But the giving didn’t stop at crafting, donations of pet food, treats, toys and kitty litter were also collected. Each contribution will go directly to Muddy Paws to support their rescue efforts and community programs. 

“Donations from groups like Swanson Russell keep our organization going,” Terri Larson, founder of Muddy Paws. “Without the generosity of donors providing food, supplies and other essentials, we wouldn’t be able to afford the expenses required to support our rescue pets. We can’t thank you everyone enough for their support.”
