Rain Bird irrigation products and technology are found in some of the world’s most iconic sports venues. But because the brand is often associated with golf course, commercial and residential landscapes, their products weren’t always top-of-mind for the sports turf specifiers and professionals who need them. We set the record straight with a campaign that put people — not products — center stage.
SHINING THE SPOTLIGHT WHERE IT BELONGS
Sports turf professionals are the unsung heroes of the sporting world, preserving playing surfaces around the globe — from community fields to World Cup stadiums. To give these crews the visibility they deserved, we created a docu-style video series and made it the heart of our campaign.
SPREADING THE WORD, FOR FANS AND PROS ALIKE
We extended the campaign to social and endemic media to reach Rain Bird’s audiences. Instagram posts encouraged followers to share their love of sports venues, promoted the video series and introduced new products for turf pros. Meanwhile, we ran print ads in trade publications distributed to the sports turf specifiers and professionals who use Rain Bird products.
ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM
All ads celebrated grounds crews while driving traffic to our campaign landing page, where they could explore new products, connect with Rain Bird reps and download product details.
