STOPPING GROWERS IN THEIR TRACKS FOR THE START OF PLANTING SEASON
Every input is an investment in a grower’s yield. If it doesn’t make an impact, it’s not worth the time spent putting it in the field. That’s why we had to make the value of PROTIVATE, the latest seed enhancer in Koch Agronomic Services’ portfolio, plain as day. Our launch campaign left no doubt about its difference-making properties.
SPLITTING THE DIFFERENCE
Our ads spoke directly to farmers with a clever mantra for their smarter-not-harder sensibility and split-screen visuals. The agri-marketing campaign immediately caught growers’ attention with video, print, direct mail and digital ads.
PACKED WITH IMPACT
PROTIVATE helps growers get more out of early-season plantings — greater nutrition, greater crop establishment and, ultimately, greater yield. Our digital ads showed how not using the product was a disservice to themselves.
CATCHING THEIR EAR IN TRUCK CABS
How do you get PROTIVATE in a pickup? First, you make a radio spot. This campaign piece reached growers and reps loud and clear, airing on rural stations.

THE OTHER HALF OF THE STORY
Our campaign drove to a landing page planted with everything growers needed to see the whole picture: The impacts of each PROTIVATE nutrient on plantings and trial data to back it up. Detailed formulations for corn, wheat, soybean and other major row crop applications. Content from KAS’ knowledge base, including its Field Notes Podcast. And a tool for finding local reps and retailers with PROTIVATE.
HELPING REPS REP THE BRAND
To educate dealers about the new product and expand where it was stocked, we developed materials for KAS’ PROTIVATE Retailer Portal. This dedicated hub was packed with sell sheets, downloadable videos, campaign print ads and a branded, promotional seed depth meter dealers could give away to local customers.
